Tiger Tales #1

The following are excerpts from "Tiger Tales" a HMM-262 squadron
newsletter which was a big hit with all of our personnel during the Vietnam
War. This newsletter was published monthly, well kinda and sorta, if time
permitted during a busy schedule. Editors such as Captain Tom "Easy Tom"
O'Malley and volunteer enlisted typists (usually from S-1) spent many off
hours putting this newsletter together. It offered not only a place to
showcase our accomplishments both on the squadron level and individual
Marine level, but an opportunity to instill a little levity in
what often were grim days.
