Mission Statement

The Association will provide a central forum to find or account for all of HMM-262's Vietnam and Iraq veterans, and to encourage discussion, and general camaraderie amongst the members through reunions and other activities.

The Association will also provide a point of contact for those veterans of HMM-262 and other organization to contact HMM-262 veterans, and to enhance the general understanding of the Vietnam and Iraq experience by the general public.

Goal

Provide a communications network, provide a repository for historical data and photos, etc. and act as a support group for our fellow marines and families of deceased Marines.

Objective

Coordinate annual and/or bi-annual reunions, produce periodic newsletters, maintain a web site, maintain current rosters for both e-mail and Snail Mail addresses, act as a point of contact for all inquiries on HMM-262 Vietnam and Iraq Marines, enhance public understanding of the Marines mission in Vietnam and Iraq.
